Who is eligible for a refund?

You are eligible for a refund if you purchased Rainbow Light prenatal or postnatal vitamins within the State of California between July 28, 2015 and October 3, 2019.

Can I still file a claim form?

No, it is too late to file a claim form now. The claims period ended on August 3, 2020.

Should I be worried about my health if I took Rainbow Light Prenatal Vitamins?

The Los Angeles City Attorney’s allegations were based on Rainbow Light’s advertising statements.  The City Attorney did not allege that Rainbow Light Prenatal Vitamins had levels of heavy metals in excess of state or federal legal requirements.

Who received refund checks?

People who purchased Rainbow Light prenatal or postnatal vitamins in the State of California between July 28, 2015 and October 3, 2019 and submitted a valid paper or electronic claim form by August 3, 2020 received refund checks.

Where can I cash this check?

If you have a checking account, you can cash or deposit it at your bank. If you do not have a checking account, you may want to check whether there is a nearby bank that will cash the check without charging you a fee.  If the bank wants to verify if the check is valid, please ask the teller to call us toll free at 833-541-0068 for verification.

If these options aren’t available, you may want to cash the check at a check cashing, grocery, or major retail store. But, call around first to find out the cost, because check cashing fees can vary significantly at such locations.

Do I need to pay anything to get a refund?

Absolutely not. You should never pay to file a claim or to get a refund. Don’t pay anyone who promises you a refund in exchange for a fee. If you received a Rainbow Light prenatal or postnatal vitamin refund check, simply cash or deposit it promptly.

The void date on my check has passed. Can I still cash it?

Your bank might not accept the check after the void date. If the void date has passed and you cannot cash or deposit the check, please contact the Settlement Administrator.
